Can you believe...

I actually scrapped last night? I forced myself to do Gina Miller's SBB challenge. It was good to create something. I'm still not 100% satisfied, but it's a good start at trying to break out of this rut. I do love these doodles by Taran Conyers.

We don't have any big plans for the day. I need to do some shopping for CKU-A next week, but I hate going out on the weekend. I think I'll wait till Monday or Tuesday so I can go when it's not quite as crowded.

Have a good day!

What the heck...

was I thinking? I signed up for Rhonna's 21 day challenge. I'm hoping it will be the motivation to get me going again. I did so many LOs while on bed rest in January and February. Since Alex was born, I've hardly done any.

I know it's been busy and I know I shouldn't stress over it, and I certainly shouldn't beat myself up over it, but it's annoying. I feel like I want to create but when I sit down, nothing works. SOOOO frustrating.

Plus, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Mac, but I'm waiting to buy PS till the new version comes out for the Intel Macs. So, most stuff has been moved over to the Mac, but I still have to use the laptop for creating. Not the end of the world, but just tedious to go back and forth. Yeah, I'm a big whiner.

Anyway, the challenge starts Monday. Let me know if you're doing it too.

I wasn't lying...

when I said my life was chaotic. Maybe a blog isn't such a good idea. It's tangible proof that 3 kids have ruined my time management skills. LOL

Oh well, who needs time management? I'd rather snuggle with my sweet smelling baby. Or giggle with 2 crazy kids.

Crap, I was going to put in pictures, but they're all on my laptop. I'll edit them in later. (Yeah, right.)

will it or won't it...

work? I'm having a hard time getting blogger to work with Firefox. Ugh, for a geek, I really hate technology. I'm trying to do everything on my fabulous new Mac, but I'm till figuring a few things out.

ETA: YAY, it worked! This was last year's Christmas card and my first "real" digital work.

A Quiet Day

It was a rather uneventful day today. (Gotta love them!)

We did take the kids to the Post Office to get Emma's passport renewed. (And we managed to get out of the house less 30 minutes later than planned!) We were going to apply for Alex's too, and then we realized that we don't have his social security number yet. We did find out that we don't have to wait to get the card in the mail; we can call to see if his number has been processed. Of course, we have to make a trip to the county office to get a copy of his birth certificate too. What a pain! Hopefully we'll have everything we need before Neil goes back to work since we both have to be there to apply for the passport. At least this PO was really efficient and we didn't have to wait at all.

While Neil took Emma to gymnastics, I took the boys to bed for a nap. We all had a good sleep. :)

Here are a few pictures of Andy and Alex. I was taking Alex's passport picture and Andy thought he needed to be in on the action. He doesn't volunteer very often so I was all over it. :)

Change of Plans

What a day! We had planned to go to our favorite furniture store to buy a desk for Emma. Andy woke up with a tummy ache, but seemed fine after eating breakfast. Alex was fed, happy and alert so I quickly set up for a photo shoot. I got the kids in coordinating outfits, the chairs and blankets set up and the camera ready to go. And then BAM! poor Andy was sick. I didn't want him near Alex and he was in no mood for pictures so we scrapped the whole thing.

I was also too chicken to take him out so Neil and Emma went to the store while I stayed home with the boys. (It's so weird to say that! I wonder how long it will take me to get used to the plural.)

Andy snuggled up on the couch and watched some TV and was soon feeling better. I'm not sure what was wrong but he has been fine ever since his nap. Thankfully it was nothing too explosive.

I still managed to get some shots of Alex. He's already filling out and has more alert periods during the day. Of course, I didn't get any shots of that today. But I can't resist sleeping baby shots.

Emma has fed Alex a couple of times. She's so maternal and does a great job!

Of course, if Emma gets a turn, then Andy thinks he needs one too!

ETA: Guess I need to work on those photos. I started the post on a PC and finished on the Mac so something obviously didn't work.
